On Responding to Life in a Holy Flow

Take a moment now to just stop thinking 

Bring your lips to the mountain spring and start drinking.

Drink the substance from the source of your being.

And open your eyes to a new clear seeing.

Abide as that which always changes,

that which ever rearranges

itself according to what is so,

responding to life in a holy flow.

Here we go — not just you, individual.

That separate sense is just a residual

effect of the process of your formation.

You can shed that skin with appreciation.

You are a snake weaving through the tall grasses.

You are a gentle wind, which through all passes.

You are the fertile soil teeming with potential.

You are the authority and the deferential.

You are you. And you respond to what's true

when what you see is, in fact, you.

That’s how you know you’re living in reality:

When the name for whatever you see is “Me."

From that basis, you can proceed

to heed the way of the opening seed.

Each instant now is a bursting sun

as this moment opens into the next one.

Let us live as the undulating flow,

not knowing where the next moment will go.

Let me remain here in the center of being

with an open space for bright clear seeing.

And let love fill every point and cell

with innate good will, and wishing well.
