How this program came to be:
It came time to propose a topic for the 2019 Science and Nonduality Conference, and I wondered what I had to contribute to the collective field. I sensed that the topic of self-love was taboo (I mean, who among us dare admit to anything like a self, or that such a thing might merit some caring attention?). In the midst of inner and outer voices poo-pooing the idea, it took me a couple of decades to take a stand for self-love as a legitimate and foundational inquiry and aspiration. So I figured I might save some people a lot of time and turmoil by legitimizing the idea a bit. So, I proposed and host a beautiful panel conversation. That was limited to 4 people and I really wanted to include more voices in the conversation!
One thing led to another, one obvious next step at a time, and that initial idea turned into an online series! The Reality of Self Love includes in-depth dialogues with 10 teachers of timeless wisdom and personal transformation: Judith Blackstone, Pamela Wilson, Jeannie Zandi, Kristin Kirk, Sonya Bibilos, Marlies Cocheret, Pernilla Lillarose, Brad Beldner, Brian Tierney, and Beth Crittenden.
